CardBase respects the privacy of the information you supply.
We employ the latest 128-bit encryption technology in all areas of the site which require you to provide your personal or account information. These include online ordering and order status. This is done to protect you from unauthorized use of the information you are sending to our server.
ONCE YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN PROCESSED, CREDIT CARD DETAILS ARE REMOVED FROM OUR INTERNAL SYSTEM. YOU WILL NEED TO RE-ENTER THEM WHEN ORDERING AGAIN.
Your account login and delivery/billing details however, will remain intact so you will not need to re-enter those.
1. What information do we gather?
There are two places on our website where we collect your personal information: On the ‘Register’ page and the ‘Checkout’ page during the checkout phase of your buying process. Both of these pages are protected by our site's secure environment for the submission of your information.
2. What organisation is collecting the information?
CardBase (Aust) collects and stores information in our secure and confidential database. All orders and payments are processed only by our staff.
3. How do we use your information?
We have two main uses for your personal information:
Processing and shipping your order, and being able to contact you (a) at your request, (b) because of an issue with your order, or (c) for occasional special offers.
Your telephone number is used only if we have questions or need to reach you immediately regarding your order.
Your name, address, telephone, email, and shipping address all remain private in our secure database.
4. With whom will your information be shared?
We will never share or sell your personal information, including your email address, to other companies for any reason, except as required by law.
5. What choices are available to you regarding collection, use, and distribution of the information?
In order to complete any request/order/service, it is necessary for you to enter a minimum amount of information. The required fields of entry are always marked. All other fields are optional.
6. Passwords
Customers only need one password to gain purchasing access to the site. This one password takes care of all order placing requirements needed. Signing up for a password will only need to be completed once. If you happen to forget your password and need to retrieve it, or you would like to change your password, contact one of our sales representatives to make this request.
7. Correct/Update Policy
CardBase (Aust) offers you the ability to correct or change the information in your profile at any time and as often as necessary. You can access and change it from the "My Account" page. 8. Delete/Deactivate Policy
If you would like your information to be deleted or deactivated from our site, please contact accounts@cardbase.com.au.
9. What if our policies change?
Should the need to change any of the above stated policies arise, the new policy will be posted here. Any new policy will be posted a full 30 days before its enactment.
