Terms And Conditions including CardBase Online Store Policies

Payment Methods

CardBase accepts payment from VISA or Mastercard.  Upon finalising your shopping cart, your credit card details are then needed to complete your purchase. 
If you wish to pay by Electronic Bank Transfer, then please call us on 1300-135-155

Please note that CardBase will only deduct payment upon shipment of your order.  CardBase will issue a tax invoice via email with every purchase.  Please retain the invoice for proof of purchase should the need arise for future warranty claims, if applicable.

All prices on the CardBase website are exclusive of GST.  GST is added to the shopping-cart price at checkout, so you can see the final invoice total inclusive of GST.

Purchasing with CardBase is safe and secure, as we use the latest Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology.  When you access our checkout, you will notice a small padlock on the bottom (or top) of your browser window.  This indicates that you are on a secure, encrypted page where your personal and credit card details are kept safe.

Shipping, Delivery and Insurance

CardBase has partnered with TNT and Australia Post courier.  We strive for prompt and safe shipping right around Australia.  CardBase can deliver your products to your office or PO box addresses, as well as to rural and regional areas within Australia.

All products require a signature upon delivery.  If you or your representative/staff are not present at the time of delivery, the delivery driver will leave a notice in your letterbox.  You can then take the notice to your local post office to collect your product.  Please note that you will need proof of ID when collecting your product from the post office.

Please allow 5 working days for delivery, once order and payment is confirmed by email.

The good news is that ALL parcels have full transit insurance, so if a product gets mislaid or damaged in transit, you will receive a replacement.
 

Trading Terms and Conditions

Payments

All payments will be deducted from the supplied credit card details upon shipment.
If payment is declined for whatever reason, a CardBase representative will attempt to contact you either via email or, if a contact number is provided, directly by phone to make alternative arrangements.  If, within 7 days of attempting to receive payment, the transaction is still declined, CardBase reserves the right to cancel the transaction.
CardBase accepts VISA, Mastercard, and Electronic Bank Transfer.
All invoice prices are inclusive of GST

Delivery

Customers will be notified via email of expected date of shipment
Some items will be delivered free of charge, if invoice total (less freight) is over $200.
A signature will be required upon delivery.

Refunds

No refunds are offered in the replacement period, unless CardBase is unable to replace the stock.
No refunds are offered if you have changed your mind about the product or made an incorrect choice, however a credit, less any shipping costs incurred, may be given depending on the circumstances of your claim.  Please notify sales@CardBase.com.au via email for consideration.

Returns are Simple!

Simply contact our friendly staff via email or directly by calling our store on (03) 5754 1229 by stating the invoice number and details of your problem.  In addition, please provide the following details: Order Date - Your Name - Your email address - Your full name

You must include all the original shipping documentation that you received with your original order. This will assist us in processing your return.  Please note that returns will not be refunded, rather a "return for credit" applied to your records.

Exchanges of Damaged or Defective Items

CardBase will only exchange items if they are defective or damaged.  To exchange an item, please contact us directly and provide details of the defect/damage.

Packing and Sending Your Return

Upon advising CardBase of the return, the following steps must be included with the return:   Invoice Number - Return Authorisation Number (RA) - Name - Detailed description of the problem.   All products must be returned in the original packing materials with all accessories included to:

Finally

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the prices maintained on the CardBase Online Store, we expressly reserve the right to amend the price having regard to any increase in our suppliers' prices, the imposition of new taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods on The CardBase Online Store is wrong.  We will notify you of any increase (but not decrease) in the total amount payable by you and give you an opportunity to cancel the order.

Most importantly CardBase will not sell to an individual.  All orders received must be from a registered Business, Association, Club, Charity, Conference, School, Hospital or Govt Department.  The reason for this is that CardBase wishes to ensure that goods capable of being misused in a security context are only sold to identifiable bona-fide organisations.

CardBase reserves the right to accept or reject any Orders which may be received by it for any reason including, without limitation, the unavailability of any Product, an error in the price or the Product description on the CardBase Online Store, or an error in an order made by you.
